I just painted them with acrylic and printed the image out on the computer printer. Then I just mod podged them on. Sadly, they have nearly completely fallen apart. But they were cool when they lasted.

Why so blue?

First, if you would like a pair of painted shoes, you should check out my good friend's dA. [link] She sells painted shoes on request. She has a gallery and they always turn out really awesome. But if you feel like doing it yourself, here were the steps I took to make these.

Step 1: Find a pair of shoes. Preferably all black ones.
Step 2: If shoes are not the color you would like them, paint them black with acrylic paint.
Step 3: Print out from any computer printer the design you want on the shoes.
Step 4: Using Mod Podge (an adhesive, found at any craft store) adhese to shoes.
Step 5: Dry

That's it. Sadly, it doesnt really work all that well. The paper tends to rip and the acyrlic doesn't stick to the fabric so well. But, if you want to go ahead and give it a try, good luck!!
